FAQ's
The Questions Everyone Asks
How long does a vinyl wrap last?
A professionally installed, high quality wrap can last from 3 to 5 years with proper care. It depends on the climate and how much sun exposure the vehicle gets.
Can you wrap a car with bad paint?
We really don't recommend it. Vinyl will stick to whatever is underneath it. If your paint is peeling or your clear coat is failing, the wrap might pull the paint off during removal. The surface needs to be smooth and stable for the best results.
How do I wash a wrapped car?
Hand washing is always best. Avoid automatic car washes with harsh brushes, as they can scratch or lift the edges of the wrap. You should also stay away from using a pressure washer too close to the edges.
Does a wrap damage the original paint?
No. When installed and removed correctly by a professional, a wrap will not damage your OEM paint. In fact, it helps preserve it by shielding it from the elements.
Can you wrap just part of a car?
Absolutely. We do partial wraps all the time. Wrapping just the roof, hood, or mirrors is a popular way to get a custom look without committing to a full vehicle color change. We also do a lot of chrome delete services.

Vinyl Wrap vs. Paint Protection Film (PPF)
People sometimes get these two mixed up, but they serve very different purposes. It’s like comparing a stylish jacket to a suit of armor. Both are great, but you wear them for different reasons.
Vinyl Wrap: The primary goal of a vinyl wrap is aesthetics. It’s all about changing the color and finish of your vehicle. While it does offer some minor safeguarding against light scratches and sun exposure, that’s just a side benefit. Its job is to make your car look cool and unique. Vinyl is much thicker and more colorful than PPF.
Paint Protection Film (PPF): The only job of PPF is to shield your paint from damage. It’s an ultra durable, transparent material designed to absorb impacts from rock chips, road debris, and deep scratches. It’s almost always clear and is meant to be invisible, letting your factory paint shine through. PPF also has self healing properties that vinyl does not.
Why Wrap Instead of Paint?
Deciding to change your car's color is a big step. A vinyl wrap offers some serious advantages over a traditional paint job. It's not just about looks; it's about flexibility and keeping your options open.
